After completing Black Isle, you now need to make contact with the IRIS network. Head to the Akuma Bar in the pedestrian district, and speak with Peepers located in the top floor. Before you get the ticket, you need to complete an easy game of three-coconut monty.
The ticket will be given to you once you complete the minigame. Enter room 3 with the passcode written on the bottom of the ticket, and push against the locker.
You will see the main room of the Iris network. After speaking with them, you are given a new objective - take photographs within the Nutripils factory.

Upgrades[edit | edit source]
You receive a pass for the pedestrian district, which allows you to purchase items from Ming-Tzu. You can also subscribe to updates from the IRIS network.
To reach the factory, you also need to upgrade your hovercraft. Head to Mammingo's garage with at least 5 pearls to purchase the Neutralizing Cannon.
DomZ attack[edit | edit source]
After your upgrade at Mammingo's, there is a meteor storm. There are also a few enemy fighters that will try to attack as well, which are identified by a green thrust trail.
Hold down fire () to charge the Neutralizing Cannon and have it lock on to enemies. Release it to fire.
The alert will end when the enemies are destroyed or when sufficient time passes.
Factory[edit | edit source]
The factory is to the north of Hillys. Shoot the obstacle with the neutralizing cannon and enter. Climb up to the top, and take a photograph of the red barcode screen, and enter the code into the lock.
When you enter, open the grate, and head to the right. Jump over the beams (or crawl under them) and press the switch to deactivate them. Push the large nearby crate against the security system to disable it.
Head into the laboratory section, and fight off the enemies. Enter the elevator, and have Pey'j push the button. You will ride up the elevator before entering another room before a droid drops from the ceiling. Attack it to knock it into the electrical beams.
Enter the next room. Take a photograph of Double H, then the locker. Open the locker with the provided code and collect the Gyrodisk Launcher. Shoot gyrodisks above the torture device to rescue Double H and collect the pearl. Have Double H use his action to ram the exit.
Boss: Reaver[edit | edit source]
The reaver will jump in as soon as you return to the elevator. To defeat it, you need to shoot it's eye with the Gyrodisk. In some cases, this isn't possible.
- When the reaver is attacked with the gyrodisk, it will protect its eye to prevent damage. Charge and strike it with your staff.
- When the reaver is on an upper ledge or platform, it will not defend itself against the ranged attack.
- When the reaver jumps to the main platform, you should dodge it as it approach. Once it lands, hit it with a gyrodisk to force it to defend itself.
When it is defeated, it will drop the pearl in the water below. It can be collected once you return to the hovercraft.
Electrical room[edit | edit source]
Head into the electrical room. Jump past the electrical arcs when they are safe, and shoot the fan into position.
In the next room, you have to fight a guardian to obtain a triangular key. To destroy it, have Pey'j use a super attack, and smash it when it is vulnerable. When it glows red, it will damage you on contact, even when you are swinging.
After it is destroyed, collect the key, and head to the lock to disable the electrical fuses. If you can, knock one of the guardians into the electrical barrier to collect a PA-1.
Return to the elevator, have Pey'j fix the engine to the left, put the fuse into the power cell in the right, and shoot the cable above the electrical barrier to obtain a power source.
Upper Hall[edit | edit source]
The elevator breaks down, but you now have access to the upper area of the factory.
Open the door; it is locked by a two person switch. After fighting off the monsters, climb up and sneak into the facility. Take a photograph of the X-Ray machine to the right to make another report. Return to the previous area, although Pey'j gets captured.
Push box against the door. Climb the crate, and shoot the wall switch. Kick the grate next to the MDisk reader and crawl in.
You will now enter a stealth section; when you are detected by soldiers, laser beams will block access to the next area, and require you to either hide or defeat the enemy guard. The guards are powerful, but if you can hit them on the breather tank, they will be disabled and easily dispatched.
When you see Double H, quickly shoot the switches below the flames. When he reaches the switch, have him push it just before you cross the laser beams.
The next guard simply looks forward in the ground path. Climb the area to the left to go over him.
When you return to the X-Ray area, hide behind the crate as you pass the guard. Take a right and climb into the closet, and head to the vat on the other side of the closet. Sneak around the vat, and into the next room with a conveyor belt. Open the locker and collect the jet boots from the closer. Enter the next room and knock one of the drones into the electric barrier; you can also collect an MDisk if you knock the other droid into the barrier in the main room.
Proceed onward to Routing. Press the switch to open the door, and quickly work past the laser beams. Sneak past the guard to the gravity lift.
In the room with conveyor belts, you need to cling to a crate until it is grabbed and brought to the remote conveyor belt. Proceed on this belt to the control room.
Control room[edit | edit source]
Avoid the obstacles, and sneak around the outside of the control room. When in position, take a photograph of the control room to publish the report.
Head down the left corridor, sneaking past guards as required.
You should be able to collect the square key, which can be used on the appropriate switches.
X-Ray[edit | edit source]
Return to the x-ray room. To proceed, look for the red console and photograph to obtain the code. (You must have already photographed the X-ray contents and the control room to get the code.)
Enter the door.
Loading Dock[edit | edit source]
Use the camera and look at the top of the dock. After a cutscene, you will be attacked by a major opponent.
It's main attack is a laser beam; dodge it by rolling to the left or right.
To destroy it, attack one of its leg to knock it off balance. Once Double H arrives, you can order him to attack the other leg as well. When both legs are attacked, the central body will be lowered and vulnerable to attack from a gyrodisk.
After four hits from the gyrodisk, it will be destroyed. Collect the pearl near the destroyed electrical barrier, and the PA 1 behind it.
Exiting the factory[edit | edit source]
Head to the entrance of the factory. Double H can open the reinforced door, and you can place a fuse in the mechanism to reopen the factory's exit.
However, Double H will begin to feel sick; you need to bring him to the Iris network in 4.5 minutes. However, there is more than enough time to collect the Reaper pearl and head to the main headquarters.
Outside the factory, there will be mines dropped to slow down your progress. They can be dodged easily or shot to avoid damage. At worst, they would only inflict minor damage.
When you reach the base, you can collect some pearls provided by the Hillyans. You will also have the opportunity to complete sidequests in the pedestrian district as well.
