James Martin says he feels 'under pressure'
TV chef James Martin made a touching revelation about his funeral plans as he felt "under pressure" in the kitchen this morning.
The Saturday Morning star declared to The Guardian newspaper that he has already chosen the song to play at his final farewell. Always open about his obsession with tractors, the chef said: "The song I want played at my funeral...
"All my mates know that I'm obsessed with tractors. So The Combine Harvester (Brand New Key) by the Wurzels."
Further revealing about his past financial struggles, he quipped: "They're about £750,000 these days, so I can't afford one. But I could afford a tractor."
Recalling his early career as a head chef during his 20s, he said: "I used to listen to Money's Too Tight (to Mention) by Simply Red when I was a head chef way back in my 20s, mainly because money was too tight to mention."

James also shared nostalgia from the period when he lived in a weekly rented flat costing just £60 while earning £100, stating: "I know the lyrics to plenty of Oasis songs including Wonderwall, from singing them too many times in the pub when I was in my 20s", reports Birmingham Live.
The culinary personality underwent surgery to remove facial cancer following his initial diagnosis in 2018. When appearing on ITV's Lorraine in April, James provided an update on his health post-surgery, stating: "Yes, the stitches have fallen out. As you know, the last time I was on, I was in the middle of operations.
"As we speak, the stitches have fallen out of my body at the moment and that's all clear. Onwards and upwards!" he declared.

To this, host Lorraine Kelly responded: "I'm really pleased, it's great, great news!" The television chef then went on to explain that he had surgery after being diagnosed with facial cancer, which he "couldn't do until two days before Christmas when we had finished filming".
The news comes after James admitted he was "under pressure" during the latest episode of Saturday Morning. While preparing a delicious fish meal, James spoke to chef Anna Guzman via video link.
With a culinary guest already in the studio, James said: "I feel like I'm under pressure from both sides really. I got a two-star Michelin chef and I got you looking up while I'm doing this as well."
