Giving him an 87 is idiotic from 247. He looks like a better prospect than any WR we have in the 25 class.
His size might limit him here but I think he ends up top 50 when it’s all said and done

Before I even opened this, I said to myself, “Gonna be the default 88, 3-star.” Was as expected. It’s clearly just a default setting and they’ll figure it out later as things shake out with age and development.

I am having a tough time getting excited about prospects who haven't even played their junior year of high school football yet. Kevin Brown is an exception, partly because I saw him dominate as a sophom*ore with my own eyes, but in general, there are so many kids who plateau over their final 2 years and end up not being the sure thing they looked to be when they were an underclassman. It's great that Penn State has what looks like a very strong start to the 2026 class, but so much can change over the next 2 years.

It's really early in the Class of 2026. 247 is conservative with their numbers.
In the Class of 2025, the kid ranked 83rd overall is a 93. Brown is rated a 90. That's just the way 247 does things. His rating will increase as 247 further evaluations the class of 2026.

Yet there ARE offensive linemen above him… he’s dusted dudes at national camps. Seems the conservative stance is taken in the north east with a lot more hype in the south and west. It’s annoying
