One of the best restaurants in Silom area
We first visited Kai in 2017 after we found it by accident one evening. Since then we’ve been back every time we’re in Bangkok and it never disappoints. This time we went there twice for dinner. The staff are all so friendly and the food is excellent. A particular highlight this visit was the NZ mixed grill (890k Rp), and on previous visits the Sunday Roast Sharing Platter has been a star. Highly recommended.

Good western food.
I always enjoy my visits to Kai as it is good quality western food that you can trust. I normally have the fish and chips which comes in a large portion. Today, I selected the roast lamb and it did not disappoint. There is a good selection of wines not he menu and the mussels were also tasty.
Desserts are great. I like the rustic themed ambience and the waiting staff are attentive without being pushy. Would recommend.

At last you can get a proper roast as a vegetarian and vegan at Kai’s! The best Sunday roast in the world. I tested the nut roast and it was sublime!!! It’s a vegan option (I’m vegetarian) which I’m guessing why I didn’t get served a Yorkshire Pudding (maybe offer this option for veggies?). The roast was smokie, flavour full and filling! Lots of vegan options now on this menu, including a veggie burger. My wife had the roast beef and both my kids polished off the kids cheese burger! We left a VERY happy family! Thank you. I’m already looking forward to returning and tasting the delicious nut roast again.

Great spot for a meal
We came here for our anniversary and had a lovely time. Fun co*cktails and tasty red meat were the highlights , but the attentive service and relaxing atmosphere were also very appreciated. The waitress surprised us by bringing out a yummy dessert for us to share on our special night. Overall a nice place to wrap up our visit to Thailand.

Feels like they actively discourage vegetarians and vegans here. The options are few and far between and lacking any imagination. The Sunday Roast has a ‘vegetarian’ option which is just the vegetables, I was so disappointed. Couldn’t see any vegan option at all. It’s 2024, lots of families and groups want to eat together and not everyone eats meat. I appreciate your meat is good quality, I really do, otherwise I wouldn’t want to feed it to my children… However would it really be too hard to offer a nut roast option on a Sunday, or how about a veggie burger or experiment with one of the amazing meat alternatives currently on the market.
My family really enjoyed their roast, it’s just hard to bring them more regularly with such poor vegetarian options!

Dear Damsqu, thank you for your feedback and you have identified something which we know and are working on. While we do have a number of vegetarian dishes on our menu already, we should expand on these with some specific comfort food items, especially for vegans. Until now many of our regular guests that require specific vegan or vegetarian meals, they simply let us know in advance and we prepare for them. But as you have found out this service is not advertised in our menu and therefore we need to do something about this. Regards, Craig.
